  • I’ve often enjoyed listening to Wesley Morris, but

It wasn’t until the most recent episode about music critics being too nice that I saw a greater depth to his ability. It’s nice when he moves a little bit out of his sphere to engage with others in such thoughtful dialogue.

  • By the numbers

The most mainstream you can get right down to the host’s perky, goofy-smart schtick. In spite of some interesting guests, some of who have an edge, it’s all in very good taste. Very safe and not what I listen to podcasts for.

  • Wesley’s enthusiasm is infectious

Hands down the best pop culture podcast out there. His analysis is thoughtful but also free wielding. Wesley is one of a kind, happy he’s back to podcasting.
