  • This is an interesting overview of current culture from a black and queer perspective. Nice poetry segment and appreciate the activist stance but miss Sam Sanders with this duo.

  • Keeping the Vibes Right

Love tuning into Sayeed, Zach, and Sam telling it like it is, week after week on arts, culture, and politics. They each have their different viewpoints, and have actual deep insights. I really like their chemistry together and that they can talk about topics in a tight hour, rather than droning on and on like in every other podcast. I am DEVASTATED that Sam left the podcast, but I’ll forever stay loyal to Zach and Sayeed! Leave it in Shantel!

  • Highlight of my week

I believe that modern society has a severe poetry deficit, so having a poem read to me by Saeed’s luscious voice helps get me through the week.

  • I love this trio so much!

It’s like they make me feel cool and smart by allowing me to listen in to their discussions about pop culture, politics, history, etc. I have a crush on Saeed Jones, I look forward to his poetry readings every week! Ive been listening to Sam Sanders since “It’s been a minute” and was bummed when they cancelled it with no warning. Anyhow, highly recommended!!

Update: Sad Sam is no longer in the show. Thrilled we’re going to have Zach and Saeed twice a week!!!
