I echo the sentiment another reviewer left about it feeling like a group chat you’re not invited to, potential for amazing insights but often referencing personal lives/ events/connections limits the audience engagement
I’m confused on what the podcast is supposed to be about & how all the random content relates. The social content for the podcast feels removed from fashion, brand, & lifestyle content. It just feels all over the place. The hosts don’t seem to gel well, in fact Anika feels on the outs with Jo & Maddy & they’re rarely together. I want to enjoy it but it needs more structure & maybe consistency with the hosts.
I have enjoyed this podcast more as it has matured and developed. I like that the team has clearly taken in feedback from the audience and changed different aspects. I think Maddy is great at the helm and any ep with Rhi or Zara on board seem to hit more for me than other eps! I always listen to eps with Rhi and Maddy straight away - great in depth conversations that make me as a listener think and react. Well done ladies and well done Mish and Zara for continuing to build SM.
Someone recommended the Shameless Podcast to me about a year ago and I loved it immediately. I’ve known that they have other podcasts (like Stylish) but I’ve been hesitant to listen. I guess I thought they might not be as entertaining or engaging or that I wouldn’t enjoy the hosts as much as Michelle and Zara. However, I have been needing some new podcasts in my rotation so I decided to listen to some Stylish episodes and I am so happy that I gave it a try! I like the range of topics, I find the... more
I would probably be the opposite of a fashion-focused girlie so I have been sleeping on this podcast for a long time, thinking it just wouldn’t be for me. However, I’ve found myself really enjoying the lifestyle and beauty content and especially the more career-focused Friday episodes. A lot of the fashion references still go over my head, but I’ve found myself a weekly listener regardless.
