  • No longer a great podcast

Not sure what happened to this podcast, it used to be amazing. Haven’t listened to it in a while, now it’s a horribly narrated AI voice that is unlistenable

  • Like an itch you have to scratch

When I first saw Sword and Scale I thought, “oh, great, another murder podcast!”. Listened to the first couple and really thought I might hate Mike more than any other creator. A half dozen shows in I truly started to appreciate his honesty, and by the time I had binged every available episode I found myself craving each new drop. Totally different, you need to try it, addictive and awesome, but graphic and true.

I’ve been a listener for a number of years with a paid subscription. Last week I finally cancelled my subscription. Not only had the episodes just fallen off entirely, but his unhinged begging for us to purchase tshirts while his voice cracks or he complains about everyone has gotten out of control. I never agreed with his social stances but I could overlook it for the quality of the podcast. Now that the episodes have been boring and he’s pathetically whining for subscribers and merch sales... more

  • Ehh

I started off liking it the podcast. However, the host makes some very Maga like remarks as well doesn’t show much empathy for victims. Some of his comments are tasteless. I have to unfollow.
