Great shows/stories. Enough is enough with the goof ball voice. I will jump right back when that’s gone.
Much like other reviewers I prefer the way this podcast used to be. I would listen as I laid in bed. Now it’s so over run with adverts that it’s been totally ruined for me. I mean it’s not a long episodes but there has been 4 long adverts already today, I’m not sure that will be the last lot and there’s only 12 minutes to go. A real shame.
I used to love this podcast, but lately it seems that more and more Tyler is doing that weird 'stage whisper', and it's just so cringe inducing....anyone with misophonia like myself might have a difficult time listening.
I don't understand why Tyler can't just speak normally, instead of sounding so affected...it comes across as cringey and performative.

I'm listening through the whole podcast and enjoying it. The AI sounding monotoned dialog takes some getting used to, not sure why it's done that way but it's not a deal breaker. The way the commercials sound is more natural than the stories which is why it feels like the way the podcasts are read is on purpose, but it definitely set the podcast apart from others.
I couldn’t listen to the completely unnatural intonation of narrator. It’s like he’s try to make everything sound exciting and ominous. Even the most innocuous statements are spoken just plainly weirdly.
