This is literally Song Exploder for film music! I can't recommend this podcast high enough. If you love movies and the music written for them then do yourself a favour and subscribe! You will not be disappointed!
This podcast features music selections by film/tv/game music composers, while they describe the process of creating that very music. An interesting idea, though the focus on the narrative on top of the music sometimes makes it difficult to listen to and appreciate the music itself. I did discover a few scores that I listen to from time to time. Worth checking out.
This podcast is great! I've not only discovered new music, but have a new appreciation on how it's created. Thank you for this podcast!
They have great guests, and the format is very unique and cool. Recommended for any fans of films and film music.
What a fantastic concept and brilliant listen - from up and coming composers to household names in composition - in the film score world - deconstructing their hard work for your ears. I've shared with everyone I know - you should too before it disappears!
