  • Was Gonna See a Therapist but…

I have learned so much more from this podcast than I have ever learned from a regular therapist. I was going to go back to therapy but there is nothing that they would tell me that I haven’t learned from Drew. I recommend this podcast and the Disordered podcast that he does with Anxiety Josh. I can’t thank Drew enough that this podcast exists!

  • Brilliantly down to earth

A realistic, down to earth look at what works and what doesn’t for anxiety. Free from lofty, oversimplified hacks, informed by science and therapeutic practice. I’ll definitely be a regular listener from now on.

  • This is really great

So I found this via Drew’s other podcast, Disordered. At first I was listening to the latest episodes but then decided to start from the beginning. Was so happy to have some key concepts covered and broken down in the first dozens of episodes. I have been dealing with a lot of separation anxiety for a long time and the episodes on courage and developing a recovery plan were really helpful to me especially as I was listening. They gave me some motivation to challenge myself. Looking forward to li... more

  • Amazing—host is very effective

I’ve read books and completed therapy sessions on the ACT approach to anxiety but I had trouble really understanding it and being able to do it. When I listened to this podcast (he has three episodes devoted to that topic), Drew’s ways of explaining ACT and anxiety in general helped me so much. He has a gift for making concepts make sense and brings good energy to this podcast.
