I recently stumbled upon this podcast and it has become one of my favorites because of how well and thoroughly researched each episode is. It contains unique anecdotes, for example, the episode of Josephine Baker, where they talked about the guy going down the river Seine in Paris on a kayak - it’s little details like that that make this such a great podcast.

Gavin did an episode of Most Notorious and I am so glad he did. This podcast is amazing. I not only echo the other five star reviews in terms of research, but the writing is OUTSTANDING. It’s clever and witty and I am often just laughing out loud at some of his observations. I don’t get the other criticisms of his narration; it’s wonderful. I am hooked on season 3 and my other true crime podcasts are languishing in my queue.
