Always worth thinking about.
I’m not a Biblical scholar, just a disabled homebound Christian needing to be fed the truth. I get that from Matt but what kept me coming back was his wonderful lighthearted personality. In every episode he expresses how excited he is about what he’s presenting and the fun of it all. You can hear it in his uplifting voice.
I thank God for you every day. You,Tasha and “kiddos” are always in my prayers. XXXOOO
Dr. Halsted is an amazing Bible teacher, and it is a joy and a privilege to listen and learn from him. Those in this generation seeking to grow in knowledge of Scripture are truly blessed to have access to his work, alongside that of Craig Keener, Tim Mackie, and N.T. Wright. Highly recommended!!
Dr Halstead provides such a balance between the academic and the pastoral voices. He presents scholarly information in a way that makes it relatable and easy to apply.
Very rich and worth diving into.
I first listened to Dr Halsted, “Matt” on Naked Bible Podcast and later found him doing his own… Anyhow I really enjoy his take on the Bible. I listen to him faithfully and look forward to all new broadcasts!
