If dedicated abolitionists opposed the "Civil War", was it really about slavery?
A leftist might say 2025. That would be wrong. Conservatives might argue the 1960s. Wrong again.
Today is "Bill of Rights Day" in the United States, but what does that mean? Most Americans don't understand that the BOR was only a check on federal power, not the States.

Great as usual, and a glass of cold water for Trump fans.
As a homeschooling mom to elementary-age boys, I find Brion’s podcast invaluable to help me teach them true history! We fully intend to use McClanahan Academy for high school history when the time comes!
If you’re looking for history without any R or D spin, you’ve found it. McClanahan’s opinions are formed from primary sources and presented with no hype or nonsense.
This is an outstanding history related podcast. Professor McClanahan not only gives you the unvarnished truth, but he backs it up with contemporary documentation. No political correctness here; this is 100% truthful history as it happened. I would recommend to anyone interested in the truth. professor McClanahan is one of those folks that you would love to have the opportunity to sit down with him and discuss all of history with your favorite beverage. I highly recommend.
