Enjoyed this so much! I literally didn’t know where to go to write a review until recently. 🤪Both of you are precious and I so appreciate your passion for artists to succeed and be encouraged! Your advent series was so good! Grateful you both are salt and light sharing God’s story to the world through your lives and podcast! Thank you! Keep it up!!!
I learned about The Splatter Effect a few weeks ago while listening to Behind the Brush with Kelly Pelfrey. I found it by searching, started at episode 1, and plowed through all the episodes to today, which is fittingly the first Advent episode. How much can you write in a review? I’ve recommended this podcast to at least five people, and I feel like the Lord brought this to me *right now* for so. many. reasons. It’s essential to my day and to my life as an artist striving to start a business. T... more
The Splatter Effect feels like catching up with friends who just happen to be brilliant about both art and business. Kendal and Kayla have such an authentic, down to earth way of blending creativity with real life insights. I love how they explore the intersection of family, work, and art. They’re inspiring without ever feeling pretentious. Highly recommend!
As an artist, I absolutely love this podcast! It feels like sitting down with two creative friends who truly get it. The mix of insight, encouragement, and honest conversation about the ups and downs of the art world is so refreshing. I always come away feeling inspired, motivated, and full of new ideas. Not only are they very informative, they are also so very down to earth and fun to listen to. Highly recommend for any artist who loves to keep learning and growing!
Enjoyed the recent podcast about favorite things. I’d love to collect one of Dennis Campay’s works. He has this one with a grand piano with a red dress and I love it! It spoke to me. I actually was in communication with him last year about doing a photo documentary of him, then I was devastated to learn he passed away unexpectedly. Buy the art! Support the artist! I still dream of owning one of his pieces. His work is so good and his impact will still go on!
