  • Finally someone talks about Johnson’s “woman” problem

This has been the case since he forced out Cathy McMorris-Rogers by refusing to pass her signature legislation. He’s undermined women in leadership right and left. No body is reporting on this and Republican women are likely only to speak off-the-record.

  • Phish, GW Basketball, and more!

I always start my morning by listening to Jake and Anna. They’re funny and insightful. No better source for updates on GW basketball and the latest Phsih tour. Oh, and sometimes they talk Congress too (and they know their stuff!). Keep up the great work guys!! I know it’s not easy doing this at 5 AM every day!

  • Misses many insider points

This podcast is 100% left leaning so it is good to hear the Democrat strategies when the host “debates” a Republican rather than interview him that tells it all. mention Schumer's gamble of assigning Chris Murphy to “negotiate” with Republicans and to NOT mention that Chris Murphy is a radical anti-gun and pro-confiscation advocate is terribly misleading and leaves the audience with the wrong impression that the Dems are actually trying to get an agreement. Then you focus on the right who used... more

Love your show, I listen every morning while brushing my teeth :-) even tho I no longer live in DC. Making a comment about Ally's Maine review. Farmington is not considered outside of Portland, it's in rural western Maine, second district. And Bangor is not considered northernmost, that be Presque Isle Maine. The real political and cultural divides are between coastal Maine (elites, usually Dems) and inland/western/northern ME, (lots of Trump and MAGA signs). Might want to talk to a few Mainiacs... more

  • Jake, stop

Liz Truss? Seriously? Please don’t suggest you’re a policy person. Just report the news from the inside. You’re embarrassing yourself.
