  • Wonderful, except…

The lecturer is excellent, and the material is terribly interesting, but it appears as though the audience was doing a river dance in the background and distracted from the lecture.

  • Excellent

I listened to this after hearing Tom Holland recommend it on the Rest is History and it’s superb. A set of recordings of a series of lectures rather than a modern style podcast, but extremely engaging and very informative. I learned so much!

Nevertheless, I felt this was a useful treatment of topics like The Home Rule Party, The Easter Rising, The Anglo-Irish War, and The Irish Civil War.
