Frankie and Adam are fantastically entertaining and well-informed as well as being totally reliable. I am impressed with their ‘stick at it’ approach. Quite a few podcasts that are not based on hugely funded models (The Rest is… I’m looking at you) simply fade out and disappear, often without warning. They put their hearts and souls into this podcast and it shows. Great guests too and for those who are looking for more, add-on events and a sense of community. Excellent!
I only started listening this podcast as of may this year. The craic is 10000/10 and to have all the main cast of the show to be interviewed is all that you need to know to get stuck in to this podcast. The only regret I have is that I join so close to the end of the main series and missed out on merch.
Frankie and Adam do a multi-level analysis of the Suchet Poirot adaptations that is so witty and humorous it makes me laugh as I learn. While they occasionally reference the books, they are definitely focused on the television shows both as stories and as adaptations. I enjoy their podcast so much that I re-listen to the older shows as I’m waiting for the new ones to drop. Thanks for all your hard work, Frankie and Adam!
Just rediscovered itvs Poirot and relishing it.
Delighted to find your pod and have gone back to the beginning. They are a joy,
Thank you
As a massive Agatha Christie fan, I’ve long awaited and hoped for a podcast focused on all things Poirot. I recently discovered you guys and I feel so proud I did. My favourite Poirot story is in fact “Evil Under The Sun” however there’s so much cleverness to other stories written by this incredible women that I enjoy
