Apple appears to have deleted my previous review…but that’s okay, the Lady Killers have evolved. I think the term “Lady Killers” is a bit of an oversimplification for what this podcast offers. Sure it centers on a cinematic female-identifying killer every week, but the typically two-hour show offers a lot more nuance for those who care to listen and aren’t afraid to confront some of the darker veins running through our society. love this show! learn something new every episode. even listen about movies i don’t even like because sammie, rachel and jenn make it fun with stories and takes. my first listen weekly show!
Decent pod but so much of the dialogue is repetitive. We hear the same stories over numerous episodes (Jen). Sammie has very long tangents that are not interesting or she’s not very knowledgeable about horror. How did she get on this podcast?
Really love the pod, incredibly insightful and considerate. Loved the recent episode on Bride of Frankenstein. I hope to see more older horror films, there’s so many to delve into.
Really smart, insightful takes on horror and the world of women in horror …. told with a fun, engaging bloody flourish! Highly recommend!
