Love this show, especially during Cannes where it's my annual ritual to enjoy the festival vicariously through its daily episodes. Nicolas Rapold's quiet, easy manner with his roster of great guests makes for A+ conversations about cinema
The music intro…. That’s were it’s from! I just heard it in the title sequence of Eric Rhomer’s The Good Marriage and was racking my brains we’re I’ve heard it before… love it!
This is a great show. Simple set-up and all about the quality of the critics, which feels pretty high quality to me. A good range of movies covered. Quite festival oriented, and skews towards US a little, so I won’t always listen if most of what’s being covered there’s fat chance any of it ever coming out in my little piece of the world.
Then again, there’s always the fall back of streamers - aka the enemy.
