  • Great show

I used to own a 2011 Defender 90. I sold it during covid as it wasn’t being used and I got a silly price for it. I do miss it and would love another one. Maybe I’ve missed the boat. Still love hearing about the brand and get a good laugh from you guys. Don from Melbourne Australia.

  • Perfect Driving Podcast

This podcast is a great mix of news, reviews, interviews and general info that feels like you’re down the pub listening to two old friends chatting about the things they love which in this case are Land Rovers. Even better for those of us in the UK is that they bring to the attention all the various 4x4 meet-ups where they will also be in attendance. I look forward to it every week.

LRM FEST 2026 ANNOUNCEMENT! Plus dealing with oil leaks and the future of Discovery
Q: How do I deal with the electrolysis on my Discovery One's body?
Sand it back as far as you can, treat it with chemical metal, and then skim over it with filler before painting.
Reputable specialists, Defender vs. Discovery 2 and the final Autojumble of 2025
Q: Is buying a really expensive one just throwing money away and is a cheap one a false economy?
There's an old saying: there's no cheap good defender, and one should focus on solid chassis and bulkheads when assessing value.
Reputable specialists, Defender vs. Discovery 2 and the final Autojumble of 2025
Q: How do you decide on heart over head?
It's a struggle for many; it's advised to test drive both vehicles and consider your personal preferences and comfort levels.
Rare Land Rover loot, disappointing degreaser and a new issue of Land Rover Monthly out today
Q: Should wading plugs be fitted to a 200 or 300 TDI Discovery or Defender ahead of winter?
Wading plugs should only be fitted when going wading, but it's okay to leave them in during winter as long as the timing chest can breathe.
First night in a roof tent, extreme oil leaks and a new issue of Land Rover Monthly magazine
Q: What tire size would you recommend for soft sand and dirt roads?
I would stick with 235-85 as it's the standard size and easier to get hold of if there's an issue.
