  • A Podcast for wonks and deep divers and I love it!

This is a podcast for people who are paying attention, and have some political science background. You’ll eat it up like me!

  • Love This

I love this podcast because you both are intelligent and bring up great points. But you were off in terms of No Kings. It’s called “No Kings” for a reason. We are against a dictator, as you know. And there is lots going on. We are boycotting Avela Airlines. We had post rally virtual meetings to organize next steps. You have to be a part of Indivisible or MoveOn or whatever organizing group you are with. This is a movement. We know it takes more than protests. We are mobilizing. Local groups are ... more

kirk said: if there has to be some gun deaths to be able to freely have guns so be it. his death was ironic to his own statement.

    kirk said: don’t have empathy.

That is an idiot thing to advise to people. animals feel concern and kirk wants us/humans to be emotionless robots

This is the best podcast ever. I’ve been listening to Jared & Nick for years. If you want to understand the truth & history of what is going on today, this is the podcast for you. I look forward to every episode, knowing it helps me be informed and understand the implications behind the surface level reporting that never seems to give all the facts.

  • Stop asking each other questions you already know the answer to!

Love the pod, but is super distracting when you cleverly ask each other questions seeking a specific answer. Just say what you want to say as a statement.

Talking Points

War and Piece… of Ukraine
Q: How are you feeling about this and why is it awful?
It's devastating to hear what's going to happen for Ukraine as they might be forced to cede territory and have no assurance of safety.
From Epstein Emails To Diaper Tax, With Congressional Candidate John Cavanaugh
Q: Are you concerned about having free and fair elections in 2026?
I'm always concerned about the next election. These folks thrive on making people feel desperate and disengaged, which is why we need to ensure people are actively participating in the electoral process.
From Epstein Emails To Diaper Tax, With Congressional Candidate John Cavanaugh
Q: Are you aware of the kind of people that you might be sitting across the aisle from and why would you want to submit yourself to that kind of experience?
I already serve in the Nebraska Unicameral, where we are in the super minority and I've seen the kinds of people in politics who seem to be there not to serve the community but to do the bidding of higher powers.
Troops in the Streets, No Balance on the Sheets
Q: How could this possibly fall under a partisan decision based on what the law is?
It reflects the complexities of current cases and how partisan perspectives could influence legal judgments.
Troops in the Streets, No Balance on the Sheets
Q: Can you envision a scenario where the current judges would rule in Trump's favor but not for a Democratic president?
Yes, there's a pattern of deference to Trump that likely wouldn't be extended to a Democratic president.
