I’m currently pursuing my masters in environmental toxicology, and even though this show is focused on medical toxicology, it has a large amount of overlap with my niche in the field. Although there are a few things I will occasionally have to write down to review later (oh no, learning something new!), I take great joy in listening to this podcast. It’s always interesting, and Ryan and his team do a fantastic production job, making the hour or so fly by. I usually consider myself too unfocused ... more
I only recently discovered this podcast and I have been binging all of the old episodes! This show is engaging, hilarious, and brimming with knowledge. This is a great podcast to explore a lot of the high risk, low frequency emergencies that healthcare workers may encounter throughout their career. Keep up the good work Ryan and Toxo!
I needed an escape from … the news. Anyway, this is that escape for me. As a layperson it is technical but I really like hearing about experts in their field, working to make the world better - in this case by studying the effects of sometimes heinous substances on the human body.
Escape for a bit and learn some really cool stuff too.
I enjoy the format and tox content-and use these for new SPIs I’m precepting!
Great podcast! Perfect for anyone interested in toxicology.
