Great choice of films - I like that they aren’t afraid to come down on commercial garbage movies - good stuff for people who are serious viewers
really appreciate the variety of subjects they cover. has exposed me to films that i sometimes didn’t know existed. always germaine and erudite guests. the recent discussion on the state of podcasting and the new documentary (Age of Audio) covering it was fascinating to listen to. i’m a big supporter of Mike White’s side projects as well. over 750 episodes in! a remarkable achievement.

There are many movie podcasts that cover details of film production that entertain, few add a level of education and insights thanks to some pure gold interviews in the style of The Projection Booth. Runtime can be daunting but the vast amount of information that is offered can not be denied as nirvana for the movie fan/buff.
Truly the best film podcast out there. Thoughtful and smart. It’s always a joy when a new episode drops. Thank you for all you do Mike.
