The Reading Symphony has unlocked to much for me as a parent of a 6yr old and a 10yr old. Grateful for how approachable and tangible this all feels!
Clear, thoughtful, and incredibly useful. The Reading Symphony makes the Science of Reading easy to understand and apply. Katie Megrian breaks down complex ideas into practical guidance for parents and teachers, with warmth and clarity. If you care about helping kids become strong readers, this is well worth your time.
Only 20 minutes in to the second episode and I’ve already absorbed so much personally relevant information - this is brilliant! I’m hooked!
As a mother and a teacher I look forward to learning about how to best support my own kids and students. There is so much out there, I’m grateful to Katie for sifting through the information and teaching us all!
As a parent of elementary-aged kids trying to piece together what “good” reading instruction looks like in schools, I often feel overwhelmed. I don’t feel comfortable bringing my concerns to the school without knowing the research in and out, but that takes a massive investment. I know I’m among many who feel genuinely excited to see such an authority making this information widely available.
