  • 15 min. In and finally we get to the topic?

Jeeze, my first time listening to this podcast and I choose episode #53. It sounds like they’re all high and a huge giggle fest. Didn’t really get to the topic unit 15 minutes in and even then it was all over the place. Goodness…..

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

#67 - Joel Cowart | Sky Wars 2024 Unlimited Display Designer
Q: What was the inspiration behind the show?
The show was inspired by a desire to take people on a journey through music and fireworks, with a soundtrack crafted from various snippets that convey a heartfelt vision.
#66 - Bill Corbett | Sky Wars 2024 Super Nuke
Q: Is there a way to add color to fireballs?
Colored effects can be achieved using ghost mines with methanol as it has no carbon; gasoline cannot be colored effectively due to its carbon content.
#66 - Bill Corbett | Sky Wars 2024 Super Nuke
Q: What is a suitable size of fuel mine for hobbyists?
The two-gallon fuel mines are great as they are small and easy to handle, delivering reliable effects.
#66 - Bill Corbett | Sky Wars 2024 Super Nuke
Q: What have you seen happen when things don't go as planned?
Double and triple check everything. A common mistake is forgetting to secure the top of the bottle, which can lead to gas leakage and ignition failure.
#68 - SKY WARS 2024 CANCELED w/Rob Cima
Q: So walk us through the timeline. When did you and the team kind of begin to think that the weather discussions were going to become more serious than the typical year to year, oh, the weather is going to be bad?
We kept saying, you know, for Sunday at rain and really on Saturday, they were forecasting rain, but we had not had rain in seven weeks, so we assumed it would be manageable until it kept raining and never stopped, forcing us to cancel.
