An exciting podcast about the fierce Turks.
I like to know the history of the countries I visit. This is a must if you’re holidaying or planning to holiday in any part of Turkey.
This podcast is the perfect balance of great storytelling and great historical research. Ever since History of Rome Podcasts I have been looking for something like this and the narrators style and research make this a true joy to listen to.
As a fan of Byzantine and Ottoman history, I am enjoying the history of the Turks leading up to events I’m more familiar with. Delivery is clear and nicely paced. I’ve only reached the emergence of the Great Seljuk Empire. I knew nothing of the fascinating events of the long migration of the Turks to Anatolia. Thank you.
this is awesome and objective but from the prespective of Turks. The pronounciations are great too.
