After listening to the first episode I needed some time to reflect. I have read The Naval War of 1812 by Theodore Roosevelt and in it he meticulously breaks down the errors and false assumptions by historians on both sides of the Atlantic. He backs his arguments with a formidable amount of evidence. I should hope a podcast would compare and contrast differing sources and talk about where and why those differences occur.
Nothing like citing moral high ground to justify impressment.
Why?
It is just making as a American feel like I am being offended with the one sided stuff and yes u are British and I know that to the British we were just rampaging bulls hungry for land and I know u are trying ya best to stay on both sides but it is ok kinda
If you want the facts without a bias, skip this one. From odd auditable noises of saliva clicking to continually slamming Americans... I had to bail after 1 1/2 episodes.
