  • Inspiring, powerful and deeply human.

I listen to the occasional podcast, but I’ve never been so drawn in by one that I wanted to listen to every episode, subscribe and leave a review. ‘The Well’ is different. It’s hard to articulate why, but saying it’s “about creative inspiration” is quite an understatement. It’s not only a study of creativity, but also of empathy, curiosity, connection, vulnerability, exploration, human beings and the world around us. And here’s where the real magic lies… it’s not just a study of those things, bu... more

  • Wonderful, gentle, and beautiful…

I first discovered this podcast during the pandemic. I was an essential worker with 2 young kids on the house - and this podcast kept me sane during the virtual schooling and panics about the future of humanity.

It’s a podcast that truly has no agenda beyond truth and creativity. I adore each episode as it comes from a genuinely honest place.

My young man has additional support needs, and it can be tough. This podcast is one of the things that helps me pull myself together and reflect on w... more

  • Why do I have to give this a title?

I’m usually skeptical of any “celebrities interviewing other artists” type podcasts, so almost didn’t hit play when the algorithms told me to listen to one of these episodes and saw one of the hosts was “that grizzled guy from that railroad show” (as my husband put it) I was pleasantly surprised this is emphatically not what the show is at all. So far the episodes I’ve listened to have been (mostly) really interesting explorations into the nature and experience of creating and appreciating art. ... more
