  • Love the show, but please fix the audio

I love the show but the audio is so spotty that it makes it almost unlistenable. Voices fade in and out.

  • I love the pod, hated the Dazed & Confused ep

I love the podcast but I have to comment on the D&C episode. It’s genuinely puzzling how every panelist - aside from Josh who doesn’t quite leap to defense - completely misreads this film. D&C is not about “the cool kids”, nor is it celebrating coolness, nor is it expressing fascist views about popularity and class structure. It’s a movie about kids caught in a fugue of adolescence. Some of them are more aware of themselves than others, some are dimwit teenagers. What the movie does extremely we... more

  • I give up.

While Saving Private Ryan isn’t my favorite film of all time, listening to this group of people tear it apart was too much for me. So I’m out. I’ll stick with Movies That Made Me.

  • Great idea, Not great execution

I really enjoy Josh Olson on The Movies that Made Me but not a fan here. The discussion of the opening of Saving Private Ryan caused me to unfollow the show(and I think the movie is somewhat overrated)

  • Well ive now heard every episode and it's become apparent that Josh chose his co-host as his " Oh no he didn't just say that guy ". Just scattershot sh**s on every movie they discuss with no real opinion other than " i was bored " i started googling names and they were all very interesting". Come on man. Also I love his comment about wishing George Clooney wouldn't be political. The man who pretty much single handedly got the ICC to file criminal charges against a sitting Israeli prime minister
