I stumbled across this podcast project by mere accident. Already 17 episodes in I am quite enjoying the perspective the two very different hosts have. I also like their honest reaction to the reviews & not pandering to the masses or what most consider are Allen’s best work. There are even times that after a rewatch of a film they thought they really liked they take a turn for their new thoughts & feelings. The episode lengths are perfect & usually with 30 mins or so. I will probably burn through... more
The existence of this pod and that people subscribe to it is really really sad
Rape and molestation promotion
You support a peadophile who incriminates himself with words and actions. Disgusted.
The hosts present interesting analyses and opinions on all of Woody Allen’s oeuvre. It’s a sad commentary on American society that lynch mob mentality has become so widespread and critical examination of facts is so rejected that a podcast like this has to be considered courageous.
Great podcast. Please keep them going !
Can’t believe a podcast on this hasn’t been done before! Great job guys - good for the new Woody fan and those of us who love his work but haven’t watched the older films for some years. Keep it up, look forward to all the pod casts for all his films.
The title is Hannah and her sisters. Not Hannah and her husbands. The important stories are the three sisters and their relationships and lives. Everything else is peripheral stories. Your review was backwards.
Wow. These guys are dumb.
I’ve really enjoyed these podcasts and the hosts do a great job of critiquing Woody Allen’s back catalogue.
I’ve also had some good recommendations from this show for other Woody Allen-like movies that have been fantastic so far.
Good work, guys!
his was a refreshing and surprisingly good recommendation from the fabulous Woody Allen Pages website (highly recommended) and although the hosts are a bit younger than I would have expected, it is actually refreshing to get a more.. shall we say, millennial perspective on Woody Allen's filmography. I can understand why some people may be frustrated with their unpolished and brash approach to some conversations but a lot of so called Woody Allen fans are quite stuffy, entitled and ironically hy... more
They sadly don’t have much insight and their lack of Hollywood history is astounding. Their hearts are in the right place but it’s like listening to students’ comments in a college lecture instead of listening to the professor who knows the subject matter.
Finally a podcast about my favorite director! I only wish this had a more dependable release schedule. Why drop so many episodes in one day rather than release one per week or so?
