I stumbled across this podcast by accident and it could not have worked out better. I’m not a huge podcast listener. Discovered these guys in August, and since the podcast is relatively new I’ve been able to back up and listen to almost every episode. I’ve discussed these podcasts with my wife, who works in counseling, and have recommended it to a lot of my male Christian buddies. Just really appreciative of this podcast and the message Jamie and Blake bring.
I’m one of the Bare Marriage listeners who came over! I have really appreciated how well the hosts and their guests model masculinity, as I have been thinking (as a single woman recovering from a breakup) what kind of man I want to date and eventually marry.
Just learned about these guys from the Bare Marriage podcast…..This is what we all needed. Love these dudes and the practical steps toward problem solving they provide. What a wealth of resources!!!
Finally, a podcast for healthy men. Rather than filling with toxic masculinity, Blake and Jaime demonstrate and encourage vulnerability to grow. If you’re like me, a hetero man looking for better relationships with other men after moving and several betrayals, this is the podcast for you.
I greatly appreciate a space to hear men help other men in a way that is honest, real and helpful. Keep doing this work, it matters, you guys matter.
