  • Exceptional research and discussion

I find Dr. Grande’s attention to detail, thorough discussion, thoughtful analysis and witty quips to be immensely entertaining. If you are looking for a crime podcast where two random people drag out a 15 minute analysis into an hour long discussion full of personal observations and speculation, this is not for you. Dr. Grande’s approach is methodical, succinct and direct. And I really appreciate the humor - very dry, very funny, always at the expense of the bad guys. Thanks Dr. Grande for your ... more

  • Come for the crime analysis, stay for the political commentary

I started listening to the Todd Grande episode about the Christopher and Susan Edwards case in the UK, but stopped when he interjected a clunky non-sequitur statement about a U.S political figure, which had nothing to do with the case, and only seemed to be a snarky way of trying (unsuccessfully) to be funny. Stick to the case and leave your political views out of it.

  • Laughably bad

Shallow and sexist analysis, if one could call it that

  • Not very interesting.

I love this subject matter, but the host is really emotionless in his telling of it. Flat. There are more entertaining podcasts out there that deal with true crime. Sorry. Just doesn’t hole my attention, even though I love the topic.
