Listening to the episode from 12/12 and idk if the audio quality is just rubbish (again) or whether Leila’s drunk cos it sounds like she’s slurring her speech a bit.
Either way, this podcast is so hit and miss! Rlly great, in-depth analysis that’s varied and challenges me. But the quality of production and constant audio issues can be so off-putting!
One of the best film podcasts (and magazines) out there featuring an interesting assortment of guest critics. My only gripe is the production / sound quality has been really bad (sometimes unlistenable) recently and doesn’t do the content justice at all. You can do better LWL!
I really love this podcast so it’s so disheartening to hear the sound quality get worse with every episode. Please sort this out because it makes it unlistenable at times and I really want to hear what is being said!
Those who can, do. Those who can’t, critique.
To all of the actual filmmakers out there, keep making films and ignore all the noise from those not brave enough to walk the walk.
I sometimes listen and enjoy the podcast but often the presenters seem to think that their opinions are the only ‘true ones’. A tad pretentious at times too.
I appreciate they don’t love the Marvel cinematic universe, which bores me too but I’d just like the presenters to lighten up a bit!
