Oh, how I need this podcast! In an era when life is accelerating at a pace beyond our human capacity--running us ragged and wounding our souls and relationships, I can’t think of messages that are more important than those on this podcast --- Abiding in Jesus, Rest, Solitude, Silence, Sabbath. Listening every week grounds me again, so that I can live the way God always intended.
So grateful for Alan and Gem Fadling and their gentle and wise guidance. Each podcast either gives me space to think about Jesus and his invitation to an unhurried life or to listen to a conversation on a spiritually forming topic. Thank you for this podcast!
There are some podcast episodes I struggle with completing in its entirety, especially when the episode lacks insight and energy. Maybe the person being interviewed was nervous because of the constant giggling and not fully answering questions that Gem was asking regarding practices in the author’s book. I felt that many of us could have written this book or did this interview because this was all information that we live each and everyday.
I was living too fast for myself. I knew it. And my daughter, naturally a slow-life gal, recommended this podcast to me.
I have been sooo helped, encouraged, and challenged to hear Alan and Gem share what (and WHO!) they have discovered along the way.
Thank you for helping me to slow down, to savor my life.
Being unhurried is a massive character quality we should be glad to attain. I enjoy Alan’s mix of commentary AND interviews on this valuable podcast!
