  • What’s that slamming noise?

I love this podcast and Dr Mary Claire Haver, but the slamming door sound in the background every 5-10 seconds is so distracting when trying to listen. Is there a video where this makes sense and is just not translating to audio well? “Wha-bam wha-bam wha-bam” it reminds me of an old PowerPoint transition sound or something. I noticed it in the most recent episode and had to turn it off and will just read the transcript later when I have the time. Can you fix that/remove it?

  • Required listening!

The information all women need to hear and consider regarding our health!!! After misguidance and wasting 8 years suffering under a GYN who worked on archaic thought and data, I found Dr Haver and my life changed for the better. She gives the latest and most informative data available to women on menopause to put us in the drivers seat over our own health. Welcome to being and feeling better!!!!

  • Haver only cares about Haver

Haver only started learning about menopause after she went through it. 20 plus years as a physician and she couldn’t be bothered. What kind of doctor doesn’t bother to care until it affects her? She is an entrepreneur first, a podcaster and then a doctor, in that order. She is evidence based as long as that evidence drives clicks and doesn’t interfere with her ability to sell her supplement line which lacks any clinical evidence to back it. She uses mouse studies to prove their validity. She do... more

  • Great podcast

This is a very informative podcast that is so important. My one complaint is that Dr. Haver interrupts her guests often hindering the point they are trying to make, or confusing the information trying to be relayed. Overall excellent though. I need a notebook to keep up with all the info!

  • Glp episodes

Disappointed that the obesity Dr seemed unaware that most of us have no access to an obesity specialist doing mris for body composition. In a perfect world, great. But I can barely get an appointment with my primary care nurse practitioner.

Also disappointed w the heart health Dr. the only real takeaway advice is what? Have your cholesterol and blood pressure checked. I guess women who only see a gynecologist aren’t getting that done but I’ve always had a primary care dr and those things have ... more
