Every week, your favorite people from The Verge and beyond hang out to tell and debate the story of a gadget, app, website, or any other tech product, and try to determine the item’s true legacy. Did you know Apple Podcasts can be video? I’ve been subscribed to the TWIT network’s video podcast for decades. This podcast is a video podcast, listen at your own risk. I listen to The Verge as a way to learn about current and future technology. I find myself struggling to find the appeal of retrospective podcasts, and while listening to Version History, I can’t help but feel the memories and “remember when” questions asked and answered feel manufactured and disingenuous, or forced. At the end of the day, I can’t help but ask, who cares?
