十五歲從《我猜我猜我猜猜猜》出道，一路從少女到通告藝人最後接下《型男大主廚》的主持棒。
成為優秀的主持人後，夏于喬沒有就此安逸，因緣際會下接了表演的機會後便下定決心轉換跑道，嘗試演員這份讓她即便身體累壞了，還是盡情享受著的表演工作。
去年憑藉《小雁與吳愛麗》入圍華語電影殿堂金馬獎的她，還是認為自己還有很多不足、需要被督促的地方，也正是這份謙虛讓她能夠繼續堅定地前進、成長，在演員這條無止盡的路途上繼續發光發熱。

原本只是想找個輕鬆的戲劇社，沒想到一次上台演出開啟了對表演的熱情和信心。小時候誤打誤撞差點誤入歧途，國中後出國生活，在美國世界變大了，惡意也更多，小小年紀就體會到了何謂歧視，上了大學離家更遠，在異國獨自生活、自己租房，安排自己的生活。
回到台灣後一邊打工一邊確立演員夢，毅然決然報考北京電影學院，充實的表演訓練養成了她扎實的底子。演員生活之餘，她也做過很多工作，發傳單、在銀行工作……見證了不同行業、各式各樣的人，反而讓她的表演更加真實而有底蘊。

解散之後，安排之下意外走回了幼稚園時期就很有興趣的演員表演之路。
