ある外国人に「神社の御神木と公園にある木は何が違うのか」と聞かれたことが「問い」を立てるきっかけとなり、海外留学に繋がったという大志さんのエピソードを皮切りに、それぞれが持つ「問い」に対する考えを話しました。
生成AIの台頭により、答えにアクセスすることが容易になった今、なぜ「問い」を立てることが大切なのか、意識的に時間を取って考えることの必要性はどこにあるのでしょうか。

神社参拝は「間」の連続といえます。鳥居をくぐり、手水舎で手と口を清めることも「間」と解釈できます。神様の前に出る前に段階を踏み、準備をすることで理性から感性へ移行をしているとの話もありました。
また、日本家屋の土間、床の間が持つ意味、屏風の間仕切りや障子の半透明性、こたつなどにも話が広がりました。あいまいさと感性との関係を考えると面白いですね。いつものように「よりみち」しながらのトークをお楽しみください。
