這本院慶專書主軸以人文歷史出發，帶領讀者從不同角度認識高榮，讓白色巨塔添增色彩與暖意。高榮原本規劃建在楠梓現今高雄榮家的位置，經過各方權衡落腳左營，也帶動鼎金交流道的車水馬龍。院區內一棟二層樓紅磚洋房「紅樓」是高榮土地原業主「王新模窯業股份有限公司」的起家厝，現在是「社區復健中心」，書中收錄老照片與訪談，勾勒出紅樓歷經粹煉的殷紅石磚憑添歲月風華。
