I listen to Jenna everyday and find her very knowledgeable and helpful
When I stumbled upon this podcast, I felt like Jenna was speaking directly to me. All of the struggles that have crippled my life were explained in real life examples and easy to digest terms. It has given me the steps I needed to help stop the ADHD paralysis and stop me from beating myself up about things that are just naturally occurring.
The term dysregulation and Jenna’s explanation were the keys for me.

The podcast seemed great at first with its emphasis on regulation and adhd. But I kept going through episodes and got incredibly frustrated by the “you need to get regulated!” without ever giving real, tangible plans on how to do that. At best it’s mentioned in passing, in conversations about adhd behaviors like rushing and being overwhelmed. So much potential here but ultimately not helpful at all. I’ve never taken the time to review a podcast, but I had to post this in huge gratitude and the hope that it helps many more people discover it.
After over 20 years of education, utilizing traditional therapy and medication, it wasn’t clear until recently that none of these things will truly be effective until ADD/ADHD is primarily understood and approached as inherently being a physiological dysregulation issue.
