My 20 yr old son is AuDHD and as a mostly neurotypical parent I am sometimes mystified by the amazing strengths and weaknesses all in one person. It has been so helpful to listen to adults that have similar problems and have found a way to create a life, not by trying to mask better, but by becoming aware of their differences and finding ways to give themselves the space they need and still accomplish things. I really appreciate the breadth of this podcast, and I’ve listened to probably half of the episodes. It has helped me work through my own experience with this condition. I take off a star only to provide constructive feedback: Mattia is quite careful in criticizing labels and providing qualifiers for her statements. This is common in academic language, and it might be to not offend any listeners. However, I often get lost in the hedging and tangents… and I’m a scientist with a PhD! I suspect tha... more
