    It’s like 50/50. Half the episodes are interesting and informative the other half the male speaker is ranting about his alcoholism problem which he simultaneously talks endlessly about and seems to be unaware of.

    I used to think this was the best lifting podcast, and one of the most enjoyable podcasts in general. The show now provides much less insight and is almost geared exclusively toward beginner lifters. The worst part is going back to old episodes and remembering how good it used to be. It’s particularly sad hearing the old hosts say how they were going to be themselves and authentic, and not water themselves down, and then going to new episodes where swears are bleeped out with an obnoxious beep l... more

  • Easy on using “elderly” young man.

    On the latest podcast, the podcaster used the word "elderly" to refer to the 60+ age group in a study. I personally don't agree with that term as I am 65, I exercise, and I don't consider myself close to being elderly. I think in the future, when you both reach 65, you may also feel the same way and not want to be labeled as such.
