Dismantling New Age cults, wellness grifters, and conspiracy-mad yogis. At best, the conspirituality movement attacks public health efforts in times of crisis. At worst, it fronts and recruits for the fever-dream of QAnon. As the alt-right and New Age horseshoe toward each other in a blur of disinformation, clear discourse, and good intentions get smothered. Charismatic influencers exploit their f... more

Thank you for this podcast!
I am grateful for these guys for doing god’s work - on my meditation journey i almost got sucked into some of the allure of some of these wellness gurus without truly knowing what they’re about. This podcast is informative, educational, and funny. One of my favorites!
I feel like there is an actual network of people paid to write bad reviews to undermine left leaning, fact based information sources and Conspirituality has become their latest target…way to go gentlemen, you’ve showed up on right wing, anti-intellectualism radars and they need to focus on you now…you’ve arrived…I am a regular listener…the Neokayfabe ep and Tia Levings ep were mind openers..bought and devoured both of their books...a whole lot more of us give 5 star reviews and learn actual inf... more
I don’t feel a biased opinion is an open minded one. For a show saying they unravel the conspiracies we face today they seem to be skewed to one side of the spectrum. I don’t like taking sides with politics but this show definitely has.
I don’t leave reviews but this app kind of forced me to this time. Sorry for the harsh critique.

Conversations often explore how charismatic influencers manipulate narratives and exploit followers using conspiracy theories that connect public health, personal beliefs, and societal fears. Unlike typical explorations of these themes, this podcast aims to foster deeper understanding and critical thinking about the potential dangers posed by the 'conspirituality' phenomenon and its implications for society.
