  • AP Coordinators Unite!

These are my people! What an amazing feeling to hear other AP coordinators expressing thoughts that I previously felt alone in. I find myself laughing along with Derek and his colleagues and I walk away feeling so understood and validated. (And always wielding a new tip!) Thank you for making this resource to unite us all together!

  • Supportive community resource

As the pandemic has illustrated even more clearly, it’s important for me to feel like I’m part of a professional community of support. The Coordinated podcast provides that. I enjoy learning more about how other schools manage their AP programs, hearing tips and best practices, and receiving helpful reminders regarding AP administration. Great resource!

Q: What did you like the most? What was the best part of the experience?
I really believe it was better for my students and selfishly, it was less packing.

We offered 1428 digital AP exams to 1,064 different students in almost every subject that was offered in the digital format.
242. Early Planning for Late Testing
Q: Derek, why is late testing now a full week instead of just three days? What's up with that?
The change is in response to feedback from AP coordinators concerned about logistics and the number of testing rooms needed during late testing.
255. Encore: AP Precalculus… It All Adds Up
Q: What would you say to a school that's thinking about adding AP PreCalculus in the future?
Make sure that you have all the buy-in and support that you're going to need from your administrators, and lots of communication to your students and their parents about your hope and your expectations that they'll take the exam at the end of that course.
253. Encore: Be an AP Reader
Q: How do they apply?
High school AP teachers can complete an application to become an AP reader, needing to complete the AP course audit process beforehand.
