I’ve been listening to Scott’s podcasts since way back during the original Instance podcast. It’s time to part ways, though. First, Beau is painful to listen to. Overruns the other hosts, doesn’t even pay attention to what they’re talking about sometimes, gives spoilers during reviews, and doesn’t even know what he’s talking about half the time.
Second, any feedback given to the show on other forums that isn’t “great show!” is met with disdain from the hosts. Now, that may be par for the cours... more
Long time listener, but when Beau gets on a subject he repeats himself and interrupts the other hosts. It’s annoying. Just make the point and move on or let the hosts respond.
Adding:
I had to bounce off this. Podcast. I love Jon and Scott, but Beau brings this podcast down. He goes on and on, spoils games, repeats himself, and in general comes off as a know it all curmudgeon. It’s too bad. I just can’t take Beau anymore.
Used to enjoy these guys, but significant bias and non-stop complaining dominate the show lately. This stuff is supposed to be fun. Find better things to talk about.
One of the few Frogpants Network shows I am not a fan of. Core is a shell of a show that was originally about Heroes of The Storm (hence the name Core), that has now become a show about “core gaming”… I understand that HotS is down for the count, but this show could use a reboot and a name change. Look elsewhere for your “core” gaming podcast.
Do yourself a favor and listen to play retro instead.
I have loved this show for many years and it helps with my commute to work. But please keep politics out of it. It’s difficult enough with it in every form of media. Most of us don’t care what the opinions of a Canadian are. We’re here for gaming, not to be divided on this platform. Just came back after unfollowing over being tired hearing the constant political bias. Hoping it has calmed down.
