And then you are saying Ion Storm did nothing good except Deus Ex 1 but Anachronox is one of the best hidden gem that exists on this planet. And later they did Thief 3 with some few mods on modern PC (to remove loading times for example) is just a masterpiece of atmosphere.
(But really, anachronox)
Scott and Brian have an infectious love of all things gaming and retro, always a pleasure to listen to their insights into the game or topic of the show and they are genuinely passionate and entertaining guys to listen too.

I love the format and the discussion. I do think it can get a bit off topic, so you guys PLEASE don’t be afraid to make multiple episode/ parts of franchises if that means we get richer breakdowns. The episode length is perfect for details, so don’t stress to rush a week of 10 plus years if it means we get to explore the bits of highs and lows of a Franchise and learn more about them! Also it does feel like during some bits you guys really drop it on the prep work. You don’t have to be experts b... more
Recently just came across this podcast looking for some good retro talk and I’ve found a new fave. The structure of the show keeps me listening, Scott and Brian’s banter reminds me of listening to my uncles talk about these games back in the 90s. I’m sure it’s been said plenty of times before but Scott reminds me of a non eccentric Jeff goldblum. Oh also, with how much they talk about Diablo I’m surprised there hasn’t been a Diablo episode, but I’m still working through the back log
I've listened to every episode since episode one to date.
