    I didn’t know that the phobia that I’ve struggled with my entire life has a name. The feeling of embarrassment kept me from doing any research into it. I was trying to find solutions and to heal on my own though my own internal work.

  • So Thankful

    I’m so thankful to have found this podcast. I’m 50 and have suffered with emetophobia my entire life. Now I have 2 toddlers and worry about them bringing home bugs from daycare! This podcast has made me feel less alone and has given me hope that I can get better!

    Anna, wow, thank you for this podcast. I grew up with Emetephobia and panic attacks but NOBODY understood me. My parents just thought I was crazy and told me to stop worrying and doctors told them it was PMS. It grew worse in my adulthood as I began having children (germs!) and they would get the stomach virus. I was spinning out of control. Here I am at 49, not recovered but definitely under control. Now I have an 8 yr old girl with Emetophobia and severe anxiety. She restricts her food and is ... more
