I’m really enjoying hearing all this information about Jonestown that I’ve never heard before but the way the narrator pronounces Guyana is driving me nuts. Other than that, it’s great 👍🏼
More focused on the events and aftermath of the tragedy at Jonestown than the origins of the cult itself.
I was in my late teens and twenties when this was occurring. I’m also a Californian and remember it very well.
I experienced the same frustration and incredulity listening to this podcast now as I did then ... that nothing every felt ‘done’ and no accountability.
Thank you for the work that was excellently done.
I know this story very well and I found that this podcast discussed a lot of new facts that I had not heard before. A balanced and well produced podcast.
Fantastic job, as someone who thought they knew just about everything their was to know about the event both before, and during Jonestown; I was so pleasantly surprised to find out I barely knew the tip of the iceberg of this story. So much research, this podcast is really, really fascinating, and if your someone like I was; who though they knew all their was to know about this historical event and tragedy, think again. Lot of stuff I had no idea about in this podcast. You won’t be disappointed!... more
