I used to listen to this podcast often, but I find the hosts’ increasing use of explicit language distracts from their message. English is a rich language, there are many adjectives and adverbs to choose from. An occasional f word is ok for emphasis, but it loses any meaning the more it’s used.
I love this podcast but literally can’t listen to a single episode that Alex Wagner is on. She interrupts everyone and it’s so distracting. Love the idea of having a girl on the pod but she does not mesh well at all. 0/10 any episode she is involved in.
I love this show — and would love a female cohost. But Alex Wagner is trying too hard to sound hip and just not a good fit.
Loved this pod until they brought on Alex Wagner. She’s not insightful, says “Right?” a million times and swears constantly and for no reason. Definitely listen to episodes without her.
