Engaging rapport between hosts—great mix of criticism, humor and banter. Often like overhearing your friends talk about “what they’ve been watching”—if your friends happened to be smart tv and pop culture writers and critics. I love their takes on shows I currently watch but really value the recommendations of new shows (and craft beer, Japanese whiskey and other flavored seltzers and canned cocktails). Previous audio quality issues resolved. Podcast sounds good!
Proof anybody can podcast, and not everyone should
Decent takes on culture, decent personalities but for the love of god please learn how to edit or hire an editor. They desperately need to cut out the dead air, awkward pauses and be more judicious in killing the boring bits of banter. Spoiler: when you hear great convos on podcasts - that’s rarely how it sounded at the moment irl. Compared to every other podcast that I listen to, I have to turn my volume all the way to max to even hear this one. I like the content but then the next one destroys my eardrums. Fix the volume issue, please.
This is the best tv podcast around. I love the vibe; it’s like hanging out with friends. I now feel weird listening to podcasts where I don’t know what everyone is drinking. I love you guys!
