I am so uneducated about so many aspects of the impact prison has on both the incarcerated and their families. What does society really want and expect from the prison side of the criminal justice system. Shocking yet informative and educational with a number of inspirational stories and people. Highly recommend.
Im awaiting sentencing of my son, I didn’t want to be felt I had to start educating myself on what to expect on how it will effect him and our family. This helped me to start appreciate the journey of what lies ahead of us . Thank you for your intelligent and beautiful podcast. I laughed, I cried, I was fired up with frustration at how broken the corrections system is on a seemingly global scale. It is similar in Australia. Although if we publicly discuss these topics our inmate loved ones suffer more. The general public can not understand. Thank you for telling your story.
