    I find myself hearing them say “omg buy this” about something one week, then a few weeks later saying “that thing is expensive and not worth the money” difficult to trust what they have to say.

    I used to enjoy listening to this podcast, but looking at some of the topics in hindsight has been disappointing. The health concepts are pseudoscience or whatever is most palatable to the audience. That’s fine, but it feeds into the “helpless” narrative instead of promoting discussion and growth. Also, might even lead to poor life choices. Things really went down hill after the Jillian Michaels backlash. I’ve explored a few decent books thanks to the podcast, but I can’t recommend it to anyone ... more

  • It’s fallen off

    The early episodes were awesome, funny, and relatable. Now not so much. If they don’t have a guest it feels like they just keep making lists that are very similar to the previous lists. The advice also comes from a very privileged point of view that may not be very helpful to most people. For example I remember them saying to pay for your car in full or with cash…uh what?
