  • I'm sad I have to Unfollow

This podcast used to be so good about two years ago but now it seems it consist of nothing but Michigan sports. The podcast should go back to focusing on real news and leave the sports to a different podcast.

  • Great podcast!

I love listening to April and guests talk about topics that are important and interesting. I learn something new in every one. Especially like that they’re short enough to listen to running errands or taking a break. I don’t always have time to read an article or research the latest news so these dives into hot topics are helpful!

Why is Michigan a black squirrel hotspot?
Q: Why do black squirrels seem to be more populous in Michigan and have been on the decline in other places?

Why is Michigan a black squirrel hotspot?
Q: Why is it that it seems like Michigan is one of the only states to have a large population of these black-colored squirrels?
In Michigan, black squirrels are indeed quite common, especially compared to states like Illinois and Indiana, where they are less prevalent.
Why do we do the Michigan left?
Q: How did Michigan develop this really different way of moving traffic through snarly left turns on busy roads?
It originated from the need to manage heavy traffic in Detroit, especially in the 50s and 60s, as the city's road infrastructure was adjusting to an increase in vehicles post-war.
Why do we do the Michigan left?
Q: Why do we do a Michigan Left here?
It improves traffic flow and safety by eliminating left turns that often cause traffic congestion and accidents.
Why do we do the Michigan left?
Q: What is a Michigan Left?
It is when you're at a major intersection and you want to turn left, but instead of turning directly, you drive straight through, make a U-turn at the median, and then turn right to head in the direction you initially wanted to go.
